ANNUAL FOODIE EVENTS

Wisconsin State Chili Cookoff

Each year, as many as 40 cooks compete in the Wisconsin State Chili Cookoff contest right here in Green Lake. Cooks meet at 10 am under the big tent in Deacon Mills Park and start combining their ingredients to create some of the best chilis out there. Cooking must be completed by 3 pm when chili will then be judged and the public is allowed to sample the chili and vote for the People’s Choice Award. The event features live music, an awards ceremony, and a live auction to take home your favorite chili

Harvestfest "Taste of
Green Lake"

This two-day Autumn celebration transforms downtown Green Lake into a haven for all things fall! With a craft faire, farmers market, food vendors and live entertainment. Saturday features a "Taste of Green Lake" by local organizations and Sundays "Taste of Green Lake features fares by local restaurants.
