Gaudete Brass, a dynamic quintet devoted to the expressive power of brass chamber music, brings both joy and intensity to every performance. Artistic & Executive Director Sam Handley observes, “First got to know Scott Tegge, the Tubist, known for years. Named for the Latin word meaning “Joy,” Gaudete Brass will deliver a free program that balances exuberance and poignancy, expanding both the brass repertoire and audience appreciation for the expressive possibilities of brass chamber music.
