Ecstatic Dance is a free-form, meditative movement experience where participants move freely to music, release stored energy, and connect with their body, emotions, and inner rhythm.

Ecstatic Dance can be a transformative experience, bringing aliveness and joy to the dance floor and into your life!

Ecstatic Dance has some guidelines in order to create a “safe space”. It is guided by a few simple yet profound principles that help create a safe, fun and supportive environment for self expression.

ESTATIC DANCE GUIDELINES

• No talking - move in silence, allowing the body and music to speak

• Follow your own rhythm — no choreography, no steps to learn

• Honor personal space and boundaries; dance solo unless connection is clearly welcomed

• Barefoot or socks only, grounding into the floor

• Come clear and present — no alcohol or substances

• Phones off, attention inward

• No pictures or videos, honoring privacy and the sacred container

• All bodies, ages (18 or older) & abilities welcome — move at your own pace

• This is a safe, non-judgement space for you to explore aspects of yourself and open to more freedom of thought and expression
