About Us

Caestecker Public Library offers a welcoming public place for both community interaction and individual pursuits where library materials and services are freely available to all. Endless opportunities await children and adults through the joy of reading and lifelong learning.

The Friends of the Caestecker Public Library is a group of dedicated volunteers and supporters who believe that the public library is a valuable asset which must be nourished and supported. Participation in the Friends ranges from paying annual dues to taking an active role in the organization’s many projects. Activities of the Friends include book sales, delivery of materials to the homebound, hospitality at library events, and an annual meeting luncheon. Funds raised by the Friends are used to purchase magazine and newspaper subscriptions for the library, pay for special programs and summer performers, and updating the library's collection.
