Harry Manx is a Canadian musician renowned for his unique fusion of blues, folk, and Indian classical music. Often described as a “mysticssippi” blues man, Manx plays a variety of instruments, including the guitar, harmonica, banjo, and the 20-stringed Mohan veena, a modified Indian slide guitar that he studied in India under renowned musician Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. His music blends the soulful depth of blues with the meditative qualities of Indian ragas, creating a sound that is both hypnotic and deeply emotional. Manx’s rich, husky vocals and evocative lyrics add to the allure, resonating with themes of love, loss, and spirituality. With numerous albums and international tours, he has built a dedicated following, captivating audiences with his cross-cultural sound and profound musical storytelling.
