Kyshona mixes her love of storytelling with the sound of her musical roots. She delivers open honesty through her soulful, spiritual, and at times, guttural lyrics. Through her performances, she desires to connect and take her audience on a soul-stirring musical journey. She began her career as a music therapist, writing her first songs with her patients — the students and inmates under her care. She soon found the need to write independently and find her voice and endeavor, which led her to the fertile ground of the Nashville creative community and songwriting culture.
