Solo piano aficionados are in for a treat as Jonathan Mamora takes the stage, bringing remarkable technical command and expressive depth to every performance. A southern California native, Mamora has performed internationally since age 13 and is a recent first-prize winner at the Hilton Head International Piano Competition, among other prestigious awards. Audiences are invited to a pre-concert talk at 7:00 p.m.
This appearance highlights a long-standing artistic connection between the Green Lake Festival of Music and the Hilton Head International Piano Competition. Artistic & Executive Director Sam Handley notes, “We are truly fortunate to have a formalized relationship with Hilton Head… Many thanks to Sylvia Thompson Richards.” Mamora’s performance reflects this collaboration, bringing exceptional talent nurtured through competitive and educational pathways to the Green Lake Festival of Music stage.
