Arbor Day Celebration

Mark your calendars! The Green Lake County Land Conservation Committee will be hosting their Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, April 28^th beginning at 8:00AM with a buffet style breakfast catered by Crossroads Market.

The location for this event is the American Legion Post 306 on 518 Water Street in Green Lake, WI 54941.

The guest speaker this year is Tony Johnson. Tony is a Forestry Outreach Specialist in the Division of Extension’s Natural Resources Education Program. He works to build partnerships and facilitate programs to support private woodland owners across Wisconsin. The title of Tony’s talk is “Arbor Day Agroforestry” wherein Tony will explain what agroforestry is and outline the conservation, economic and social benefits of including trees in the farm landscape.

Fees/Admission

Seating is limited to the first 100 paid registrations. The cost of the breakfast is $15.00 per person and sign up is now until April 26^th.
