SUMMARY:April Artist Uncorked - Erin Quick-Laughlin 2025
DESCRIPTION:Our April Artisan of the Month is Erin Quick-Laughlin \n\n\n\nI have struggled since childhood with vision problems\, nearly losing my sight\, but in 2021\, a new treatment greatly improved my vision.\n\n\n\nThis inspired an addition to my art style\, adding figurative works to my earlier impressionism. \n\n\n\nToday\, I primarily work in oils on canvas or board\, focusing on European landscapes and the human figure. My originals can be found in galleries throughout eastern Wisconsin\, with prints and merchandise available during summer art fairs. I've had the honor of participating in several prestigious plein air competitions\, including those in Cedarburg\, Oshkosh\, and Richeson's of the Fox Cities.\n\n\n\nThe works you see here represent places I've been\, people I know\, and things I like to look at. I work most frequently in acrylic on canvas or board\, preferring European landscapes and the human figure. \n\n\n\nLet me know if there is something you'd like to see on my canvas\; I'm a friendly guy!
